1.  A 'New' Normal This poster emphasize about the 'new' normal that we are having now due to the COVID 19. I use the tagline 'new ways, same purpose' because we are adapting to the new enviroment but the purpose we have is always the same. Moreover, I would say this poster promotes the sejadah, cloth for men and kids made from Siti Khadijah.  This poster is for the Ramadhan campaign and should be use for social media like Facebook and IG stories. This poster uses metaphor concept and posting in a social media is an ideal platform because since people stays at home so people will use social media for their free time. 2. Kelembutan Yang Asli In this poster its emphasize about the quality of the 'telekung' which is soft and inspired by the clematis floral motif which shows its own exclusiveness and creates an elegant look. Malaysia is undergoing a process of flattening the curved. Malaysia has already undergoing 4 phase since its started on 18th march. With the recent update the number of cases has increase a little bit however the number of recovered are also increased. Thus, Malaysia is on the right path to overcome this pandemic as long as people follows the instruction that has been given by the government. We should not take advantages on our under recovering period. If not, we would probably end up like Singapore.  Since the pandemic corona virus has affected people around the world, I would like to choose brand IKEA as my case study. The purpose of the case study is to create a PSA creative campaign. The objective is to choose brands or product that can bring benefit to the brand during the conditional MCO. We are having a tough situation where the virus called Covid-19 has been widely affecting people around the world. Along the way, we have been told to stay at home in order to flatten the curve which represents the pandemic.  In order to do that, we have been advisedly to always wash our hands and take care of our hygiene. We might be complaining about staying inside the house or having restrictive movement. However, we are unlikely aware that there are others risking for their life to save others. Yes, it is our front-liners. We should be more empathy with the situation they are having by following all the rules that has been set during this Restrictive Movement Orders (RMO). For a start, by staying at home. This is the best way to show our empathy for our front-liners that has been risking their life for the sake of others.  So what is empathy? Metaphor is an expression that compares two things that can relate on how they are alike in some reasons. Metaphors uses subject or visual so that the readers can imagine in a certain way or in different new ways like you want them to see. In other words, its an indirect message. The effectiveness of metaphors can bring many benefits. Using metaphor can make it more lively and interesting. Therefore, it can create a great communication in terms of message and visual. There are a few example of metaphorical design that i would like to show it here; Mercedes-Benz always come out with some cool advertisement to market their brand and product. I am impress with most of the poster from the Mercedes-Benz. For this poster, the visual you can see here is the spanner with a shadow of a crocodile at the back. People keep wondering whether the idea or the concept comes first? Some would say idea and some would say concept. However, does people really understand what's the different between those two? I will briefly explain about what is idea and what is concept. IDEA: Technically the idea comes from your raw mind when you probably doing something. The idea roughly can come when you watch the sunset at the top of the cliff or having a tea time with your family or friends. it happens when you observe your surrounding and blend in to it. idea is similar when you get the AHA moment. That's where the idea will come. Often comes when we lease expect it. However, you have to chop down the idea on the paper because it won't last for long. CONCEPT: Concept is when you have made a solid concrete from your idea. there are to be the fundamental building blocks of the thought and beliefs. Lately, We have seen Burger King has been boosting their marketing effort in order to build their brand reputation especially in Malaysia. Despite the challenges and competition from other food chain company such as McDonald's. In Malaysia, McDonald has a strong brand image compare to Burger King. Therefore, Burger King has been struggling to attract customers to buy their product. Thus, Burger King has came out with a lot of promotion in order to attract potential customer. Burger King target market is Children because most children like to eat fast food and parents like to take them to a fast-food restaurant.
