Hello guys! Today I'm going to talk about the 7 elements that can be found in magazine cover. Why is this element is very important in a magazine? It is to attract readers attention so that they can be persuade to buy this magazines. Hence, what are the elements that can be found in a magazine cover? 1. Mastheading I will be talking about Men's Health Magazine cover. So the mastheading is the name itself. It does not use in short name such as MH, instead, it uses the full name for the front cover. Although it does look long, but it seems to be perfectly fine for me. Men's Health magazine uses red striking color for the masthead cover magazines in order to give the readers a feel of power and strength as red reflect strong and aggressive.  Moreover, the typeface it uses is very modern looking as it is a serif typeface font. This is ITC Serif Gothic. It was a join effort of Herb Lubalin and Antonio DiSpigna back in 1974. It features its uniquely design serifs - that combines Gothic simplicity with traditional roman elegance. If you look closely the typeface is indeed similar to Serif font. However, in my opinion I believed its a semi-serif as the stroke is not that long at the end of the letters. ITC Serif Gothic had been seen in famous sci-fiction movies like Star Wars and Star Trek. Its unique futuristic fonts make it suitable to be used in this movies. Moreover, ITC Serif Gothic offers 6 different kind of typeface that the designer can use in making design. G ood graphic design is a use of set of tools, known as the elements of design to build an imagination that comes within our minds to become a reality. A good graphic design can deliver a message to the viewers like the old saying ''a picture worth a thousand words.'' What must be needed in order to create a good design? There are 6 element of design that can be use to do so; which are lines , shape , size , color , value and texture .  This is one of the example that uses six element of design in one poster. 1. Lines Under this poster I believed that the designer of this poster uses a lot of lines. We can see that the designer uses compacted lines to create a different texture for viewers to see it. Other than that, the designer used line as a border between the text. It can be seen in the poster where the designer uses the line to separate the eyes of the viewers at the actor's and actress's name, the title of the movie and the credit. Line play...

In my opinion, a famous quote by Henry Ford which is ''A man who stops advertising to save money is like a man who stops a clock to save time.'' It refers to a man that try to stop advertising of his product in order to save his money. However, if you stop advertise your product you might spend less but you'll definitely receive less in return as well. Same goes when you try to stop a clock which will waste your time as a clock always 'tick and tock'.
